Prepless veneers are a great fit when your teeth are healthy, reasonably aligned, and you’re looking to refine color, small chips, or minor gaps. If your teeth would benefit from a bit more correction, Dr. Chin may suggest porcelain with light preparation instead. He’ll walk you through the right option for you at your consultation.

With good hygiene and a nightguard, porcelain veneers often last a decade or more, while composite is easier to refresh and touch up along the way. In the end, how long they last depends most on your bite and your daily habits, and Dr. Chin will show you how to care for them.

That’s the whole goal. Dr. Chin designs each veneer to suit your facial proportions rather than a one-size-fits-all template, so your smile looks like a naturally beautiful version of your own, never obvious or overdone.

The design

Photographs and an iTero 3D scan replace putty impressions. Shade and proportion are chosen with you, against your face rather than a shade guide alone.

Preparation, if any

Prepless and composite cases skip this entirely. Porcelain cases involve minimal, measured reduction and a temporary while the lab works.

The bond

Your veneers are tried in, adjusted against your bite, and bonded once you have seen them and said yes.

The nightguard
